Detaching and attaching a license in On-line Mode

In this article, you will get an overview of how to attach and detach a valid license from N-Stalker 2009 Web Security Scanner Application.

• Detaching a License:

1. Open N-Stalker Web Security Scanner Application.

    

    

   

    

    

2. Click on “License Manager” in the upside menu bar.

    

    

   

    

3. Under N-Stalker License Information, click on “Detach license” button.

    

    

   

    

4. If you have successfully contacted our license server, a message will be displayed showing the status.
   
   Remember: You must be connected to Internet to do so!

 

 



 

• Attaching a License:

1. Open N-Stalker Web Security Scanner Application.

    

    

   

    

2. If you require a Web Proxy to contact our Internet servers (license server), you may configure it by clicking on "Proxy Server" button.
   

    

    

   

    

3. Once done, enter your License Class and Serial number in the correspondent fields. You will find them in N-Stalker Customer Center account or in the welcome message sent by our support team.
   

    

   

    

4. Press "Attach License" button to initiate on-line attachment.

    

    

5. Follow the messages automatically generated by software to effect the latest updates and then start using the scanner.
